ประเทศไทย – Thailand

When we left Thailand last year we felt our time to get a good overall impression of the country. Besides Bangkok, we had only seen two places in the country: the very rural North East and Hua Hin, the king’s city two hours down the Gulf coast from Bangkok. Also, our experiences had been very much marked by sharing the life of locals: first we had the honour to participate in an authentic Thai wedding in Kalasin and then we were guests in the very natural and back-to-the-roots style house of a Thai-German couple in a little village close to Hua Hin.

On the whole it was always a quite off-the-main-tourist-track stay, as during the whole time the amount of locals around exceeded the foreigners by far.

How different was it this time!
